A major rail operator embarked on a program to minimise the incidence of accidents resulting from unauthorised access by the public across operating train lines at railway stations.

Thorburn was engaged to manage the design and installation of the first stage of the program which involved the erection of 1.5kM of security fencing to a number of high incidence stations.
